What is a .UTF8 file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .utf8 file is a plain-text file whose extension signals UTF-8 (Unicode) encoding. Open it in any text editor such as Notepad, Notepad++, VS Code, TextEdit, or gedit, and make sure the editor reads it as UTF-8 to avoid garbled characters. It is not a special format; renaming it to .txt changes nothing about the file.
