What is a .SLN file?
The most common data format on the web.
An SLN file is a Visual Studio solution, a plain-text file that groups one or more code projects (.csproj, .vcxproj, and similar) so they build together. Open it by double-clicking in Microsoft Visual Studio, or use the free VS Code with the C# Dev Kit or JetBrains Rider. The file holds no source code itself, only references and build settings.
