What is a .PPTM file?
Everything worth knowing about Microsoft PowerPoint Macro-Enabled Presentation files.
A PPTM file is a PowerPoint presentation with VBA macros built in. Open it in Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress, or Google Slides. Because macros can carry malware, do not click "Enable Content" unless you trust the source. If you only need the slides, save a copy as .pptx to drop the macros entirely.

Is my .PPTM file uploaded anywhere?
No. Your .PPTM file is unpacked and drawn for you.
Will it look exactly like in PowerPoint?
Close, but not pixel-perfect. Text, shapes, pictures, tables, colours and the theme are redrawn from the file. Animations, transitions, charts, SmartArt and some special effects are simplified or skipped.
Can I see the speaker notes?
Yes. Notes appear under the current slide whenever the author added them, and they're counted in the info panel.
What about old .PPT files?
For PowerPoint 97-2003 files the viewer extracts the text of every slide, titles and bullets included, but doesn't draw the layout yet. Save the file as PPTX for a full preview.
And Apple Keynote?
Keynote files keep their slides in a proprietary format. If the file contains its built-in preview image we show it; otherwise export the deck from Keynote as PPTX or PDF.
