What is a .ICS file?
The most common data format on the web.
An ICS file is a calendar file in the iCalendar format (RFC 5545). It holds events, meeting invitations, tasks, and reminders as plain text. Double-click it to import into your default calendar app, or upload it to Google Calendar via Settings > Import & export. It is not a contacts file and has nothing to do with spreadsheets or CAD software.
