What is a .BLK file?
The most common data format on the web.
A BLK file is an AutoCAD Block Template created by Autodesk AutoCAD. It stores which block definitions and properties from a drawing should be published to PDF/DWF or extracted as data. It holds no geometry; the actual drawing stays in the .DWG. You work with BLK files inside AutoCAD, not by double-clicking them.
